Revised Bristol/RWU Practice Schedule

Starting April 9th, the coached Tuesday Masters practice at Roger Williams University is canceled until further notice due to lack of support for a 7:30-9:00pm workout. However, Masters swimmers can still pay the $5 drop-in fee to swim on your own at that time. The rest of the RWU practice schedule remains unchanged. For more practice info/options see Locations & Schedules.

Updated NAC Practice Schedule

Effective immediately, Newport Athletic Club's Wednesday Masters practice has been moved to 6:30-7:45pm to accommodate a class that runs until 6:30. The Monday 6:00-7:15pm practice schedule remains unchanged. There will be a renewed effort to start on time, generally with a 10-minute unstructured warmup period followed by structured sets. Written workouts totaling 2000-4200 yards are usually available for 4-6 different levels. For more practice info/options see Locations & Schedules.

Mission Accomplished: SwimRI Dominates New England Championships!

SwimRI swam away with the men's, women's and combined points titles at the 2014 New England LMSC Short Course Yards Championships held at Harvard University on March 15 & 21-23. In a potentially record-setting performance spanning 57 events, 100+ Rhode Island-area Masters swimmers of all ages and abilities topped the 60-team field with determination, camaraderie and flair by dominating the relay events and scoring over 8400 total points, nearly 3000 more than host team and defending champion Cambridge Masters. Longtime SwimRI Member and Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame Inductee Tom Manfredi led the way by scoring 215 points en route to capturing the men's individual high-point trophy.
